The Call of Cthulhu is Nerd Squad Radio Theater's second radio play and the first to be put onto the one and only Nerd Squad Radio Theater blog! The Call of Cthulhu is a story about a man who encounters the darker powers in the corners of the earth.
Highlights include Dan Brown's terrifying portrayal of the mad Inspector Legrasse, Becca Dawson's fantastic insane Cthulhu cultist, and Chance Rigdon's calm detached description of the horrible events he's relaying to the people.
And another highlight is the epic saga that happens after the end of The Call of Cthulhu that starts with Cthulhu attempting prank calls and becomes a whirlwind look into the love life of the Lord of Fears and Nightmares. I cannot highly recommend it enough!
Of the radio plays I've done so far the Call of Cthulhu is among my favorites, next to Jungle Book, and is without a doubt our scariest show yet.
